The family of the late Rev. Dr. Bennie R. Mitchell, Jr. manages the BRM, JR. INSTITUTE. The purpose is to provide knowledge about a man who believed a better life is possible through education. The institution encourages young people to strive for higher goals and aspirations.

“It Is Well” is the documentary film on Rev. B. R. Mitchell, Jr.’s life and legacy. It has taken a little over 10 years to complete and Rev. Mitchell’s family is very excited to share the finished 74-minute film. The film highlights a few of Rev. Mitchell’s talents, contributions and accomplishments. “It Is Well” is Bennie R. Mitchell, III’s directorial debut and first feature film.
The last song Rev. Mitchell recorded with his son Bennie III in 2007. With a redo of musical instrumentation in 2013.
